Job Title: Mechanic
Reports to: Maintenance Superintendent

To be Successful in this role:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive or mechanical technology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in an automotive or industrial setting.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and machinery, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and problem resolution.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of parts as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
