Hanes Geo Components (HGC), a division of Leggett & Platt (NYSE:  LEG), is a national supplier of geotextiles, erosion control products, and construction site soil stabilization materials.

Our company location in Midland, TX is seeking a Warehouse Lead, 

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Able to operate office equipment.
•    Able to operate lift trucks.
•    Forklift Certified.
•    Experience with shipping, receiving, and bar-coded inventory using an RF Scanner.
•    Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
•    Good communication skills (verbal & written).
•    Must be able to follow verbal & written instructions.
•    Commitment to Management System and continual improvement process.



PRIMARY DUTIES:

The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following:

•    All employees have the responsibility to identify and stop further processing of non-conformances related to products, processes, or the quality system.  
•    All employees must take action to prevent nonconformities related to the product produced, service provided, or the Management system.
•    All employees have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions for improvement and verify the implementation of solutions. 
•    Manage warehouse inventory through accurate shipping/receiving and weekly cycle counts. 
•    Count incoming inventory for accuracy and creating inventory tickets. 
•    Load/unload trucks.
•    Lead/assign warehouse staff in daily tasks and ensure they stay on task.
•    Prepare and complete all shipping documents.
•    Keep warehouse organized and clean.
•    Scheduling carriers to pick up freight.
•    Ensure every piece of freight is accounted for and tagged.
•    Ensure all freight is located in its proper place.
•    Utilize warehouse space correctly.
•    Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
•    Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
•    Participate in the continuous quality process.
•    Conform to all quality/safety requirements and procedures.
•    Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
