Position Description
Terrafix is looking for a customer oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for playing a key role in identifying opportunities to cultivate new business and support existing relationships. This person will learn about our business from the ground up, interact with key players in the industry, and can grow within the organization.
This Inside Sales Representative will report to the Director of Sales, Western Canada and will be based out of our Surrey, BC office.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contacting potential clients, identifying key contacts and sourcing new business via email and phone calls.
  • Conducting follow-up calls on existing customers to understand their needs.
  • Creating opportunities with complete information in the CRM.
  • Maintaining accurate records of interactions with clients in the CRM and providing weekly reporting as outlined by the Manager.
  • Supporting marketing efforts and attending trade shows as required.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills – written, verbal, and listening.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and driven personality but also able to work well within a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude with clients and employees.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Education & Experience:
  • 1 – 3 years of previous sales or order desk experience.
  • Completion of a post-secondary program would be considered a strong asset.
