Duties: Lead business development in HEM (Hanes Engineered Materials) markets. Train and develop sales, marketing, and product management teams with a focus on new business, product, account, and market development; this includes product, supplier, inventory, account and market strategy formulation and implementation. Prioritize opportunities in roofing, building insulation/products, boat/car covers, and anti-fracture solutions, including flooring, acoustic, and other emerging areas. Explore additional opportunities in the pool and spa industries. Explore new markets by product type, such as hydrophilic spunbond materials for absorbent products. Develop the spunlace product line for applications across various industries, including automotive, pultrusion, and roofing, as well as other innovative uses that may arise. Work with the product development team on new innovations and with the sales team to bring these new products to market. Leverage the outside sales team to identify new market opportunities across the U.S., ensuring comprehensive market coverage and maximizing potential growth. Participate in the hiring process for the HEM department and support the training and onboarding of newly hired team members. Travel as needed to meet with vendors and customers.

Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Marketing or Business Administration. Must have three (3) years of experience as a Market Manager, Inventory Control Specialist, or a related product management role in the nonwoven, woven, and composite fabrics manufacturing industry. The three (3) years of experience must include experience with: Product Management in the nonwoven, woven, and composite fabrics manufacturing industry; setting, implementing, and executing on sales and market growth strategies; negotiations and assistance in closing strategic opportunities; forecasting and evaluating sales performance metrics including customer usage, gross profit, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), contribution margin, Profit & Loss (P&L) and annualized Return on Investment (ROI); CRM software; managing and prioritizing multiple, high-stakes client deliverables within tight deadlines; traveling to key client sites and major industry trade shows; conducting on-site client consultations to build partnerships and gather market insights; advanced Microsoft Office Suite for complex data analysis, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas; overseeing concurrent projects with competing deadlines; and managing operations including salespeople, inventory control, customer service, quality control, and factory and warehouse activities. Must travel 35% domestically and 10% internationally.
