Position: Account Manager

Location: Lower Mainland, British Columbia
Reports To: Sales Director, Western Canada

About the Role

Terrafix is seeking a high-performing Account Manager to support continued growth throughout the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. This individual will play a key role in expanding our presence across civil infrastructure, environmental, and construction markets.

As the primary point of contact for customers, you will manage the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and developing solutions to delivering value through geosynthetic products and systems. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, technical aptitude, and a proactive, results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Market Development

  • Drive revenue growth, market share, and margin performance within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with contractors, consultants, and project owners.
  • Prepare accurate and professional quotations and proposals.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with regional objectives.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales pipeline information within MS Dynamics CRM.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Understand project requirements and recommend tailored geosynthetic solutions.
  • Manage and advance opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Represent Terrafix at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Share market intelligence and competitive insights with the sales organization.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of sales experience in construction, civil, industrial, or related markets.
  • Experience selling geosynthetics or engineered solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in business, engineering, environmental studies, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Solid understanding of civil construction practices and project lifecycles.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently in a territory-based role.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.

Working Conditions

  • Territory-based role centered in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
  • Regular travel to customer offices, project sites, and industry events.
  • Travel requirement of 30% to 40%.
  • Flexibility to accommodate customer and project schedules as needed.
